Official Contest Rules
1. You must be 16 years of age or older to participate in this giveaway.
2. Only one entry per person per qualifying appearance. Contestants must only participate themselves, (not for other relatives, neighbors, etc.)
3. Contestants can qualify at our special Mowing Down Cancer Giveaway 2026 live remotes, county fair appearances, community events and other appearances by playing Plinko to qualify. Drop Plinko Chip and the spot it lands determines how many entries you get. However, if you make a donation, (100 % goes straight to five local cancer support groups), you get to drop the Plinko Chip a second time and earn more entries! With Final qualification day of the Giveaway.
15th, 2026. Opportunities will exist at times on Facebook and ON THE AIR with our local stations. The final winner will be determined in a random drawing from all entries. The Winner MUST be present to win. If the person is unable to claim the prize, an alternate entry will be drawn and awarded the prize. A person is eligible to get multiple entries and qualify at multiple locations. The final giveaway event will be held at Skyview Equipment on August 15th, 2026, the exact time will be announced on the air, on our MSCNews website promotions section and through our social media outlets.
4. Employees and immediate family members of KNZA Inc. are not eligible to participate in this giveaway promotion. Nor are employees or immediate family members of any major sponsor. Employees of participating merchants cannot participate while a remote appearance/event is being held at their employer's business.
5. KNZA Inc. reserves the right to change or modify these rules. Any such change will be announced on the air on KAIR FM 93.7, KMZA FM 92.1, KNZA FM 103.9, KLZA 101.3 FM, KTNC 107.1 FM, and KOZA 96.9 FM. Changes will also be placed on MSCNews.net promotions tab and notification also placed on all social media outlets. Participating stations will have a written copy along with the original rules available at each studio site.
6. The winner is responsible for all applicable taxes, fees, and incidentals not specifically provided. The winner will be required to provide his/her social security number for tax reporting purposes on a W-9 tax form. The winner may pick up the Zero Turn 52-inch Skag Pink Patriot Mower or 54-inch Bad Boy Maverick Zero Turn Mower; free delivery of the cart will be provided, within a 150-mile radius of Hiawatha, KS. A delivery charge will be incurred if the winner is outside the 150 radius and does not pick up the cart themselves.
7. As a condition of entry, all participants release KNZA Inc., its sponsors and advertisers, from any & all liability arising out of participation in the giveaway and acceptance of prize, including operation of the cart by anyone.
8. All participants as a condition of entry release their name, voice and likeness and or picture to KNZA Inc. and its affiliates for promotional purposes and shall do so without further compensation.
9. By participating in this contest, entrants agree to be bound by these official rules and decisions regarding any aspect of the giveaway by KNZA Inc are final. Noncompliance will result in disqualification.
10. Two (2) Grand Prizes will be awarded, consisting of a Zero Turn 52-inch Skag Pink Patriot Mower & 54-inch Bad Boy Maverick Zero Turn Mower Prize is non-transferable. No substitutions or cash redemptions.

Prizes won on the air must be picked during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., within two weeks of being won. Individuals who do not pick up their prize(s) within two weeks will be ineligible to win another prize for six months. 

Please bring photo ID with you when picking up a prize.

Limit one (1) winner per household within any 90 day period for prizes with an approximate retail value under $500.
For prizes with an approximate retail value of $500 or greater, limit one (1) winner per household within any 365 day period.
A "household" is defined as individuals residing at the same physical address, regardless of relationship.

Some exemptions and/or exclusions may apply with certain prizes. Any such exemptions and/or exclusions will be announced on Hot Country 93.7 FM.

Some prizes have certain restrictions on them, such as a minimum age requirement. Any restriction(s) will be announced on the air during the giveaway.

Listeners must be 18 years of age or older to be eligible for any giveaways associated with the Kansas Lottery.

If you call or leave a message on our listener contest line (913-367-3670), all or portions of your message may be used for broadcast on KAIR-Radio.

BIRTHDAY AND ANNIVERSARY LIST

The KAIR-Radio birthday and anniversary list is read every morning around 6:55 and 7:55.

A name is drawn at random every day, with that person winning a quart of ice cream from the DQ Grill & Chill in Atchison.

Those on the birthday list 90 years old and older will automatically win a quart of ice cream, as long as we are informed that they are indeed 90 or older.

Birthday and anniversaries may be submitted in the following ways:

They may be dropped off at the radio station at 200 N. 5th in Atchison. If our office is locked, please slide the announcement under the corner door. 

You may also e-mail them to [email protected], or mail them to KAIR-Radio, P.O. Box G, Atchison, KS 66002. Include the name as you want it read, the date, and a pronunciation guide if the name is difficult to say. If sent via mail, please allow mail a week in advance to ensure timely delivery. 

We accept birthdays and anniversaries as early as two weeks in advance, and as late as 12pm on the previous business day. (If the birthday or anniversary is on a Sunday, or on a holiday that falls on a Monday, please get the announcement to us by 12 p.m. on Friday.)
